*Note: The ultimate key to all of our courses is the opportunity to perform actual live surgery on your own patients. We strongly recommend for each participant to bring a patient as well as at least one or two clinical partners (staff members).
On a number of occasions, we have found that participants would like to bypass Dental Implant I, only to find that they then come back to take this course after Dental Implant II or Dental Implant III.
The courses are now designed to be taken in their sequential order. This provides a better learning environment, as the class participants share a similar experience level. All of the courses are very comprehensive and are newly revised to be a continuum designed to build upon each other.
The discipline of dental implants is an ongoing journey. We have worked very hard to provide as much information as possible within the continuum of these three courses to expedite the learning curve and most importantly, equip the participant to implement their newly gained knowledge immediately in their own practice. As of Monday October 12, 2009

Implant I is not an introductory course…rather a comprehensive summary of surgical and prosthetic principles, providing confidence to successfully implement predictable implant dentistry into everyday practice.
This course introduces the participant to all aspects of implant dentistry required to diagnose, treatment plan and surgically place and restore dental implants in mature edentulous sites with sufficient hard and soft tissue.
This course equips the participant to surgically augment hard and soft tissue in sites that are deficient. This allows dental implant placement in areas previously unacceptable.
Procedures that are taught include:

Ridge splitting

Several soft tissue procedures to augment volume

Several soft tissue procedures to increase the amount of attached tissue
This course is the culmination of Dental Implant I and II, allowing the participants to diagnose, treatment plan and surgically perform advanced cases with full supervision. This is a very powerful course due to the combined and shared experiences of all of the participants and the mentorship of Dr. Keith Phillips.
This is a one day course that provides five hours of supervised surgical time, along with three hours of didactic material. This allows the participant to bring one or more patients to perform surgical dental implant procedures in a safe and supervised environment, optimized for maximum learning. The objective of this program is to empower the dentist to develop and refine patient specific advanced surgical techniques.
