Out of province, US, and International course participants require a temporary license that is issued through the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, that allows them to operate on a patient within British Columbia for the duration of the course.
They are also required to purchase liability insurance, which will cover them in Canada during their enrolment at the Ickert Teaching Centre.
Both the temporary licensing and insurance coverage is available for a nominal fee, for both out of province and out of country participants through our Provincial Regulatory College.
